How to get Scholarship from Chick-fil-A Restaurant?

Chick-fil-A provides two types of scholarship if you are planning to study.  You must make ensure that you comply with their eligibility.  If you complete all the requirements, then you can go for their scholarships.

True Inspiration Scholarship Eligibility

Award amount: $25,000

Be an employee

You must be an employee at a franchised, company-owned and/or affiliated restaurant (including Dwarf House Group, LLC (Dwarf House, Truett’s Chick-fil-A, Truett’s Luau, Edgewater, Truett’s Grill)) at the time of application.*

Be a Team Member

You must be a team member at the time award is presented by the Operator, Interim Manager or Executive General Manager, as applicable.

Be a Student

You must be a post secondary undergraduate or graduate student or planning to enroll in undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Recommendation

You must be recommended by an Operator, Interim Manager or Executive General Manager (depending on the Restaurant where the Team Member is employed), addressing the Team Member’s professional achievement.**

Your Impact on Community

Show demonstrated care and service in the twelve (12) months prior to application. Note: We understand COVID-19 may have changed how you were able to volunteer and show care to others. You will be asked to share in what ways you were able to make an impact on your community, friends and family over the last 12 months both inside and outside of the Restaurant.

Grade Point

Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent). Academic awards and recognition will be considered. Applicants are required to upload a transcript that displays their name, school name, classes taken, and GPA.

Leadership Scholarship Eligibility

Award amount: $1,000 or $2,500

The eligibility criteria is same as above except the grade point.

Grade Point

Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent). Academic awards and recognition will be considered. Applicants are required to upload a transcript that displays their name, school name, classes taken, and GPA.

*Team Members must be employed at an eligible restaurant at the time of the application and when the award is announced. For tax reasons, Team Members are not required to remain employed at an eligible restaurant after being notified of their scholarship award. The specific terms and conditions of any awarded scholarships will be different for Team Members of Chick-fil-A Franchisees, Team Members of Chick-fil-A, Inc. Operated Restaurants, and Team Members of Dwarf House Group, LLC.

**Professional achievement could include testimony of demonstrated leadership, work ethic, teamwork, and other contributions. Although hours worked may allow Team Members to contribute at a higher level, a specific hour requirement should not be used in determining if an application should be submitted.

FAQ

If I want to apply for both the Leadership Scholarship and True Inspiration Scholarship, do I need to fill out two applications?
No, Team Members only need to complete one application. Recipients will be chosen for each scholarship based on our eligibility requirements.

Not all applicants will meet the eligibility requirements to receive a 2022 scholarship; however, all Team Members have access to the Tuition Reduction Network throughout the year.

Will scholarships be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis?

No. All 2022 scholarship applications will be reviewed and graded on each of the eligibility requirements.

I am still in high school. Can I apply?

Yes! Team Members still in high school are eligible if they will be dual-enrolled or enrolling full-time at a postsecondary institution for the upcoming academic year.

What about grad school? Can I apply, too?

Yes! Same as above.
